  • Andy got in touch wanting an upgrade for the Mavic Ksyrium Elite wheelset on his ROSE Xeon. With most of his rides being on the Surrey roads we got talking about shallow section carbon rims.

Curve are an Australian brand with a great range of products. They have recently had their 38 and 50mm rims approved for use in UCI races which is a pretty big thumbs up on the quality and strength of their stuff.

The UCI CC38’s are 25mm wide up front for better steering stiffness, grip and impact resistance and 23mm at the rear which is lighter and spins up faster.

Prices with Curve rims start at £1150 with Hope hubs – This set comes in at £1385 with the DT 240’s – Plus there’s a two year warranty.
